The National Deaflympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan has approved the composition of the national team

The National Deaflympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan has approved the composition of the national team to participate in the XXV Summer Deaflympics, which will be held in Tokyo from November 15 to 26, 2025. This year, Kazakhstan is represented by a record number of athletes—79 athletes who will compete for medals in eight sports: athletics, swimming, Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling, judo, taekwondo, badminton, and table tennis.

The team includes 19 track and field athletes, 8 swimmers, 6 Greco-Roman wrestlers, and 6 freestyle wrestlers. Kazakhstan is also fielding a strong judo team of 16 athletes. Ten taekwondo athletes, six badminton players, and eight tennis players will compete in Tokyo, aiming to win gold medals.
